Sure, but research indicates the increased accountability massively boosts a dieter’s likelihood of adhering to the diet as the brain associates failure with anticipated social pain. Telling more people is a biologically sound tactic to enhance odds of success.

That’s opposite the conclusion of bipartisan in-depth research over the last several decades. The brain’s ability to anticipate social pain generates tremendous urgency for task accomplishment, even over sustained time lapse. We evolved as social creatures and our brain matches.

That I do agree with. If a person never transfers from pressure outside to pressure inside, they’re wholly reliant on the world to keep them healthy and productive.
