Are there tips? Sure. But in the end it comes down to saying “I will not eat until X.” There’s no magic secret to help you hold yourself to a course of action with discipline. People are so used to collapsing into every impulse, they can’t imagine anyone else denying pleasure.

You’re really not gonna die from not eating for three days. Your body is meant to do it without issue. Medical research shows it’s actually good. Most religions require it. People are so used to gorging now they’re convinced even a slowdown in calories is starvation and death.
