Genesis 5 directly contrast Adam being made in the image of God with his children being made after his image. Again, I say, if I do not bear the image of Adam, what need have I of the second Adam?
-
Yes, and Adam did so via the ordinary means God established as normative according to human nature. Genesis predicates "made" of God, but "begot" of Adam. The means are important!
