I get A TON of requests to read new books and do free development editing, usually by authors asking if the plot is good or especially to use my psychology license to see if their characters are “true to life”. I’m flattered but my reading list is 23 deep and I get 20 min a day.

I understand, and am unoffended. And by unoffended, I mean "determined to eventually produce a book you can't not read whether I ask you or not." Frankly, if *you* are not asking *me* for review copies... nothing wrong with that. But it means I still gotta up my game.
