I don’t have any hard feelings for these authors. I did the same thing when I was new and didn’t know. But: -I only get 20 minutes a day to read -I’m still paying for my MA -Develop editing can cost $500-3,000 -Free work means choosing not to make money or be with my family

In the past I’ve tried to accommodate people when I can. I love to help people every chance I get. But I’m at a point now where every minute of the day counts and stopping making money or neglecting my kids to do free work with a degree I’m still paying for just isn’t an option.

So the answer right now is that I just can’t read anyone’s books for the time being. But I’m always happy to answer questions or offer advice, because I enjoy helping people when it doesn’t conflict with my family’s needs.

I'll be honest. When I first started following you, I thought about bombarding you with DMs about writing because you were the first writer that I "met" in the loosest sense. But I saw how busy you were from the jump and decided not to.

I am more than happy to answer questions. Helping new authors is enjoyable.
