Seriously stop with the Ibuprofen. Long term bad bad thing. Acetaminophen or Aleve. Also ice gel pack to temples can help.

That sucks, man. Hope you get better. Also, careful not to overdo the caffeine - it might just make things worse. Maybe you can sit out the storm. Take it slow and then get back to it after it's gone. And don't stress over what work you miss. It's a Vis Major.

I had miserable storm-triggered migraines for over a decade. I quit carbs (sugars and grains) and they disappeared. I don't have one now unless I go off-plan for a few days. Side effects were loss of fat, high LBM, more energy, better skin, mood, thinking, libido, etc. YMMV.

I've been that way since concussion a few years back. Oddly, Advil Cold & Sinus Plus is the only way I can do anything about it. That and Neilmed Nasal Spray. It at least keeps me functioning to some degree.

I sometimes get storm induced migraines. Excedrin Migraine or Goody's headache powder are my go to otc measures. Dark room and quiet if it gets really bad.

I can always tell when the rains coming. Shoulder, neck, and back lock up. Epsom salt soak, lots of stretching, and pushing through.
