The best copywriting tip I can give is to stop selling with the left side of the brain. Logic doesn’t matter. Make your audience FEEL and they’ll buy. The right brain overrides logic when feelings are powerful enough. Slap that feeling brain. Why do you think coins are shiny?

Who wants a dull rock? But everyone wants gleaming gold. They’re both materials dragged out of the earth. One is shiny, one isn’t. Why do you think money is made to look appealing and artistic? It could be hideous instead. Slapping that emotional brain makes you WANT THE MONEY

You tag that emotional brain with visceral language, non-visual sensory details, and poking someone in their most painful sore spot. You convince them your product will make them FEEL GOOD and/or relieve their pain. That right brain lights up like the 4th of July.

People out here market their product like “It’s good” “I spent time on it” “It should work” “Lots of options But this works too” “An extra hose!” Yawn. There’s a reason women in bikinis sell burgers and vacuums and cars and potatoes and tube socks. Slap that right brain.
