People act like asking me questions about my Catholic faith and the teachings of the Church is an imposition or a burden on me. Nah. It’s the best part of my day. Ask away. I’m not the most educated schmuck but I’ll give it my most honest answer as I’ve learned it.

where in the bible does it say to pray to the Virgin Mary?

It does not say it in the Bible, you’re right. Since the earliest times the Church has held the Blessed Virgin to be the mother of the Church and Queen if Heaven as seen in the Book of Revelation, and while we do pray to her, it is absolute heresy to ever worship her.

what is your opinion on the significance of the eucharist? I believe it to be important as Jesus said, "do this in remembrance of me" , but I've yet to find a church outside of Catholicism that does this. Granted, I am new to Christianity and haven't searched too long.

Fun fact: Catholics are over 1 billion, Protestants are about 890 million, and Orthodox are around 240 million. Catholics and Orthodox both, that is a majority of Christians, hold the Eucharist to be the literal Body and Blood of Christ as taught since earliest times.
