I have fond memories of these things, and they may be more cost effective for quantity. https://www.amazon.com/WishaLife-Cardboard-Building-Extra-Thick-Stackable/dp/B07RJWM4YL/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=jumbo+cardboard+blocks&qid=1590674476&s=toys-and-games&sr=1-6 …

Very welcome! My cousin and I beat the tar out of these building castles and forts for the Predators, Aliens, and Jurassic Park Dinos to tear each other up in.

Pretty durable. They are corrugated and the edges are doubled up. If you come at the broad faces with a pointy item you could punch through, but they (as I recall) were pretty darn robust. We stood on 'em, hit 'em with the toys and the like.

I am looking for the set we had, because it looks like this a category of toy - the set we had was blue, red, green, and yellow bricks. This was 20+ years ago.

Happy to help, my friend. :) Godzilla deserves some stuff to smash. Wife and I still have our matching ancient Godzilla toys set up holding hands on the mantle.
