counter point: you don't provide alot of examples for many of your points. you say people are rejecting anti heroes when the joker was able to make a billion dollars attracting special interest from demographics that you say would reject anti heroes like gen z and conservatives

My counterpoint to that would be that Joker deals more with being robbed of the things a person craves most and thwarted at every opportunity to fix the attachment issues despite trying. The issue I emphasize is the antihero having the chance but rejecting it.

In that case he’s not an antihero, but a tragic classical hero who succumbs to his flaw.
