I love the Maccabees. I honestly though hadn't heard of it until a few years ago. Most Baptist preachers don't even acknowledge it. I have found 1 that preaches, Dr. David Jeremiah

I know the Maccabees and other books not available in our traditional bible, although am a non-Catholic. But are these books inspired?

They were accepted by all Christians from 367 to 1534, and the person who removed them also personally denied Revelation as canon.
