For the first 32 years of my life I rarely dreamt and had almost exclusively nightmares. I started taking magnesium a few years ago and the dreams ever since have been insane. It’s bizarre to suddenly have a normal dream life like I’ve always heard about.

For me, gave me lots of dreams every night. EMDR treatment for my PTSD made the nightmares better.

I never used to dream at all . . Then about a year ago I was diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea. Not a fat guy, just got floppy upper airways , Started cpap and boom . Asleep enough to dream, REM sleep is amazing

Can vouch for this. My wife always had dreams that she could recount, while mine were just one big blur. After starting with magnesium 2 months ago mine also have a storyline.

The night before last I dreamed I was on a train on a circular track, and every time it passed the grave of a shapeshifting zombie dragon I had to fight the dragon.

It could only be killed for good with the sword of the knight who killed it the first time, but all I had was a hatchet, so the best I could do was keep it occupied so it didn't kill any of the other passengers. In theory, the grave of the knight was somewhere else on the loop.

Taking note and *trying* to remember your dreams will allow them to proliferate :)
