A side effect of toilet training your kids is that when you come out of the bathroom they gather around to congratulate you on a job well done because they think that’s a normal response.
The unexpected validation as an adult is both comforting and confusing.

The funny thing about teenagers is, like most of us, they deny their makers existence. Of course, there are few times when they will recognize their makers. Either outside the bathroom door or in a foxhole.

Some teenagers, though many of us still need to rely on Him as adults and need to do so more than we can count. I know that my Maker pulled me through to adulthood in the first place. I was close to suicide when I was 16, and I’m now 30.
