I experienced the wisdom of multigenerational living when I flew down to meet a Ghostwriting client. As patriarch, he built a compound for 200 relatives and their families. Nothing makes you doubt the nuclear family faster (i.e., dad, mom, 1.5 kids staring at each other all day).

That's accurate. Our family doesn't believe in "warehousing" our elderly, so it has always been a full house. Right now, it is my sister's house, Grandma, kids, grand-kids interacting every day.
