I couldn't quite gather from your article what your take on repressed memories is. Obviously people's testimony shouldn't be dismissed on the basis of a fake "false memory syndrome", but are repressed memories a real thing?

Thanks for the link @wastelandJD. Sorry @TheBrometheus if it's a dumb question...I just don't have any first hand experience of this sort of thing in myself or my family, and I know in our circles there are a range of opinions about various psychological phenomena.
Not a dumb question. It’s also hotly debated among licensed professionals.
That's what I was thinking but I know next to nothing about psychology so
