Sociopathy and psychopathy are not diagnosable disorders but instead features of (typically) antisocial personality disorder.

So what about the phychopaths that function fine in society? They aren't anti-social.

My post was about an explicitly diagnosable disorder. Sociopathic traits are typically features of personality disorders because of the behaviors they frequently lead to. If you’re speaking of specific sub-clinical traits that don’t cross the line, that’s another matter.

I'm talking about diagnosed pychopaths that have logically concluded for themself that its more benificial to function within society than in opposition to it.

It’s impossible to have a diagnosed psychopath because psychopathy is not a diagnosis.

Well I know a few diagnosed Psychopaths who would disagree, and a schizophrinic.

As a licensed psychotherapist with an MA in Psychology and a history treating death penalty inmates in correctional settings, I’m curious what branch of Psychology is using a non-standard diagnosis like “psychopath”.

LoL Master of arts for a science degree. If you are then I'm king of the world. One is taking anti-pychotics for their schizophrinia. Has been for years. The other is a mild case of pychopathy and functions fine with no issues. They have both been diagnosed.

I cannot in good conscience engage in a battle of wits with the unarmed. Later.

Someone who doesn’t realize Psychology is classified as an art for degree purposes and who argues with a licensed professional about diagnostic criteria is not ready to seriously discuss mental health.
