When the economy was bubbled and booming, people wanted quantity for their entertainment buck. Now that we’re rationing what we have I suspect entertainers will need to return to quality. The age of cheap entertainment and forgiving garbage creators is behind us. @NickColeBooks

People have preferred movies to books b/c they're passive entertainment. In a tighter economy, more will look at maximizing bang/buck. Books have movies beat in this respect.
