I bought a gun from a hardware store here in Wisconsin in about 15 minutes. I grew up in California where you either wait about 20 years while the state checks to see if the gun consents to be adopted or you pay a guy in an alley $150.

I live in a Wisconsin town of 35,000. We have 3 Mexican immigrant owned restaurants that rival (the food, anyways) anything I’ve had in California or Texas.

Dead center on the Illinois border. Beloit. If the local hardware store carrying guns and a Mayberryesque vibe is what you’re envisioning, though...no. A short Google search will explain. But, come visit on a Saturday in the spring. Take in the farmer’s market before your tacos.
