Here’s what I’ve never understood: why is a woman preparing home cooked meals for her husband and children considered oppressive? The love put into making the meals and the appreciation and enjoyment of those meals seems really joyful and rewarding if you ask me.

I love cooking! Especially for my family. Maybe they think we never get a break or are underappreciated? Is that what drives the thought pattern? My hubs says thank you at every meal and is always up for takeout when I'm tired or busy.

They must think that men are standing next to their wives with a whip while she slaves away in the kitchen.....who then gobble down the food and leave the table without so much as a backward glance......I am SHOCKED your husband lets you leave the kitchen!! Shocked I tell you!
