This weekend my family and I will be attending the ceremony and burial of our baby. Our child was never born, it never took a breath, we never got to look at its eyes, hold it, or see it smile, yet it was full of life, blood, and a heart like you and I. Life is a gift.

I’m deeply grieved to hear this, man. I’ll pray for your family. Stay strong. Reach out if you need it.

Thank you for the prayers. We were blessed to be at a Catholic hospital when we found out and she had her procedure. They value all life and are providing the ceremony and burial for us and other’s who want to have their unborn infants buried. Hopefully it brings some closure.

It kinda brought the grieving process back to the forefront, but the I’m thankful we can honor its life this way. We sent DNA off as well so we can find out the gender. Then plan to name them and have a shadow box made in their memory.

This is good, especially for the mother.
