This weekend my family and I will be attending the ceremony and burial of our baby. Our child was never born, it never took a breath, we never got to look at its eyes, hold it, or see it smile, yet it was full of life, blood, and a heart like you and I. Life is a gift.

Thank you for the prayers. We were blessed to be at a Catholic hospital when we found out and she had her procedure. They value all life and are providing the ceremony and burial for us and other’s who want to have their unborn infants buried. Hopefully it brings some closure.

It won’t. She’ll always hurt from this. You might, also. But it can cause either division or deeper unity with the family you have here. Be the rock, and focus on building tighter bonds so the pain means something.
