When I was teenager, I wanted to be really rich so I could buy loads of fancy cars and impress random women.
Now, I want to be really rich so I can have a large family with tons of children, and be highly charitable.
Darn maturity...

Spend more time with them. Unearned money is a bad substitute for time with their dad.

Good reminder. When I am not working I am with my children. I do little else but cultivate this legacy. Healthy attachment is one of my clinical specialities.

Exactly my take. I liked how you put the sower parable in this perspective in a tweet few months ago...or maybe you didn't, but either way you spoke about the legacy and that must have made me think about the sower.

Similar mindset. Trying to create income for my children so when they hit adulthood, they'll have a headstart. They'll work for everything they have though, as the curse of the dollar is very real.
