One issue in this working mom / homemaker mom debate is it’s assumed traditionalists believe women can’t become good workers. The truth is that mothers have MORE IMPORTANT work to do. A mother shapes the psychological health of future generations from birth with her bare hands.

While a mother can run a company or work in an office or sell cars, what an immense waste of her efforts. Any grunt can work an office job. But a mother fashions the future by tending carefully to young minds and shaping them as they grow. What else could possibly match that?

So yes, women can become mindless drones in corporate jobs to serve a soulless company that will discard them with callous disinterest when their position is dissolved. Or they can lead those soulless corporations to exploit workers. But what a waste. Mothers shape humanity.

Genuine question: how is that different from men working as mindeless drones? Men shape their children too. What is the significant difference here?

Basic biology. Track the mental health and behavioral impact of daycare in the first six months with children separated from their mothers.

But what if instead of daycare they were with their dads? (Or grandparents)Basically my question is what is the difference of being raise by the dad while mom works and raised by mom while dad works. I am honestly interested, this is not argumentative.

Maybe an easier why to put it. As I understand what you said Mom with kids> mom at work But then isnt Dad with kids > dad at work ? And why not?

A wide host of biological and neurological reasons, not the least of which is that the majority of fathers and children struggle to bond in the early months while the child knows its mothers smell and taste before birth.
