In the areas where they built it, yes. Remember America is the size of complete Europe. And you have to have a reason to travel that far.

In Europe I think we pretty much have it all over the place and there are international ones. There is even one under the fricking sea/ocean/channel that goes from France to Britain. You yanks just gave up :P
