Severe sounds detrimental. Do you have a blog/paper on this level of severity?
-
Severe is a designation regarding diagnoses of mental disorders and their symptom status.

the problem is, society tends to treat mothers as victims and fathers as perpetrators, so they are either weak or absent... or they get the cops called on them with BS domestic violence charges and don't start me on the alimony and child support hustle

Preaching to the choir, buddy.

In my medical work with many women living in chaos with so much tragedy (suicide attempts, substance abuse, promiscuity, and poisonous men) I have found the common denominator to be absent or abusive fathers. The power of a father is so under-appreciated in the life of a woman.

Yeah, who knew that strong, loving fathers are actually necessary for children to grow up happy and healthy. ( *scratches head* )

Present/not-present is obvious enough to tell if one's doing that. Strength is harder to judge, though. What's the minimum deadlift to ensure mental health in one's children?
-
A weak father, for example, may not challenge his abusive wife’s behaviors and may leave the children open to her brutal attacks.
