Layover in Chicago and running on fumes from 2 hours of sleep. Ask me anything.

But when does inspiration hit? Or is it a constant flow for you? I've found that my morning commute to work gets some words moving. Then I gotta get to work and deal with work. The momentum is gone. Trying to sort out if I should go in earlier to let the words flow before work

Waiting for inspiration is a lie. The bulk of my work gets done when I just make myself do it. That means a specific schedule and keeping my area free of distractions so I have no choice. It’s better to write a few hard words every day than wait for the perfect month.
