I didn’t get a chance to properly thank her for it. It was a huge help. But despite the formality of TLM, it has always been friendlier to my small children than the huge NO parish we used to attend.

There are always stories about how rude people can be about kids in mass. It’s happened to us. I thought I’d share a nice one today.

Who on earth would be rude about kids in Mass when couples are commanded to multiply? It’s a sacred vocation. May as well complain the priest is always talking about Jesus.

In fairness the priest at our old parish used to come down on people like a ton of bricks for it. “I have priest friends in Florida that spend all their time saying funeral masses and last rites. Be happy our parish isn’t dying.”

Exactly this. Loud kids in Mass announce a healthy parish.
