Fathers: Let your kids help when you labor at home. Daughters need to discover ways they’re useful to the man they love. Otherwise they feel useless, rejected, and default to what’s between their legs. Sons bond with you as you teach them, it tells them they’re worth your time.

I mostly remember my dad being angry and yelling all the time when he wanted me to help him with construction. I learned how to deal with unreasonably angry people, and am now learning actual contruction stuff in my adulthood from him haha

Thankfully he's also mellowed out a bit, so he and my niece have a lot better experiences when doing that sort of work. I'm also thankful that I've learned how to control my own anger because of this, so I won't make the same mistakes when I have my own kids
