I was my Dad & Grandpas shadow. I learned so much from watching them & them letting me help them.

This is so good for a young woman. Huge for her self esteem.

I mostly remember my dad being angry and yelling all the time when he wanted me to help him with construction. I learned how to deal with unreasonably angry people, and am now learning actual contruction stuff in my adulthood from him haha

Controlling your anger is a big part of fatherhood...

Always did (kids grown up now). It gave me the opportunity to show off how FIGJAM I am - just kidding. It's the best part of being a dad. And I loved playing with their toys too.

Ha, this is good parenting.

Fathers are incredibly important. Anytime I help my dad out -to this day - he still tells me, "thank you, I dont know what I'd do without you" with a smile and twinkle in his eye. Doing things with my Dad and watching him and mom interact taught me how to be there for my husband
-
Sounds like an EXCELLENT father.
