The reason Jesus is still on the cross in Catholic Churches is Because every week Jesus has to be resacrificed with bread and the blood. Jesus didn’t die for sins once and for all but every week.

I think so. Actually during the mass they say to God to accept this sacrifice for our sins, as the lamb of God.
