@TheBrometheus is this true? Just read this somewhere.
The reason Jesus is still on the cross in Catholic Churches is Because every week Jesus has to be resacrificed with bread and the blood. Jesus didn’t die for sins once and for all but every week.

The statue of Jesus behind the altar in my home parish is Christ risen and ascending.

So, I guess... the answer is no. We don’t believe we’re killing Jesus over and over. Our Nicene Creed makes clear He died and resurrected. We do believe His sacrifice resonates through all time and we continue to take part in it. So the sacrifice is accepted again and again.
