Also...what is your religious background? I want to see Christians making good art too, but trying to discuss that gets as little traction as you seem to be getting here.

Ok, so here's where I get to the hard part for me: I have pretty narrow literary tastes, that don't usually include pulp. But I'll try Brom's book, I'll give y'all a follow, and we'll see where this goes.

Next point: I'm an evangelical and our explicitly Christian art has tended to be awful. I'm interested in better Christian art, but I'm also interested in better art by Christians that is Christian only in subtly, only in atmosphere.

Specifically, I want some non-Christians to have the inverse of the experience I have where I fall in love with a creative endeavor only to learn its creators are opposed to all I hold dear. I want them to discover one day that all their favorite authors are Christians.
