Legit. The Hubs is very enthusiastic about his idea for us to collaborate on a book but, aside from me not having any time soon to devote to writing, I also haven't got a clue where to start.

Fiction. Fantasy, likely. We both love the genre. I have the imagination & flare, but I desperately needed an editor and someone to help map out and plan ideas. I can be a little scattershot.

Niche yourself. Fantasy is massively over saturated in some areas (dark fantasy) and general fantasy is like a snowflake in a blizzard.

If I’m going to write to a genre, I need to make sure the book has explicit references to that genre’s mainstays.

We can just be us. As writers, and figure out the genre when the book is done? I mostly did that. As you let the work develop, the story begins to suggest itself, more and more.
