The issue here is calling it sexist is the language of leftists who hate family and I will not bow to them. It's helping to demonize it and makes the title seem more important than actually raising children.

The great message behind the phrase "full-time mom" is that it makes career women acknowledge that they're mom's only part of the time.

My job is to support our son's stay at home mum. She is way smarter than I am. Our son is lucky to have her as his mum and teacher. I am lucky to have her as my inspiration, I couldn't do what she does.

I hear your Bro, however "just staying at home" is part of the problem. The home is the central headquarters of the family, which is the central headquarters of your life. Most important place to be. My opinion.

There's my ex wife, a stay-at-home-while-kids-run-with-sagging-diapers-eating-freddo-frogs-while-surfing-netflix mom. Then there's my current wife who stays at home whilst taking care of it and raising 4 kids to be intelligent mindful people. Spot the difference.

Like so many things, it's about intent. I'd wager most folks don't view it or intend it as sexist, and the ones that do tend to scoff at stay-at-home moms anyway. Words can have extra baggage attached, but attaching baggage where bone exists is a deep rabbit hole leading to PC.

What do you think about the word “homemaker”?

Pretty happy with it but just “Mom” works. All these modifiers make it sound like that that isn’t a full vocation.
