I don't get why someone would smother that fact. I mean it doesn't enter into it when I pick someone to read. Whatever beliefs a person might have, does not decide whether or not you are good writer. I wish I had someone like that because I keep on stepping in traps. :P

Well, I think one of the reasons that my book drowned the first time I launched it was because of lack of reviews. Any good ideas there?

Some authors do the ARC thing (advance review copy). But honestly, first books don’t usually explode unless you’ve got reach. Networking is huge. You just plain need tons of eyes on the book.

This is why I think a lot of creative introverts fall short. It is hard for a lot of that kind of personality to break their habit of just living within themselves. But that is just based on my personal experience with myself. :)
