When I started writing, a bad publisher tried to smother me for being Christian. I reached out to @NickColeBooks and he’s mentored me through the last 2 years as I publish my books. He also wrote one of my favorite books of all time: Soda Pop Soldier.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MTM2CSG

I don't get why someone would smother that fact. I mean it doesn't enter into it when I pick someone to read. Whatever beliefs a person might have, does not decide whether or not you are good writer. I wish I had someone like that because I keep on stepping in traps. :P

Well, I think one of the reasons that my book drowned the first time I launched it was because of lack of reviews. Any good ideas there?

Some authors do the ARC thing (advance review copy). But honestly, first books don’t usually explode unless you’ve got reach. Networking is huge. You just plain need tons of eyes on the book.

... said every writer ever. There are writers, and there are authors. Writing is a talent. Authoring is a profession and must be studied.

And it is a profession that is never fully learnt as well. :)
