I haven’t spent much time looking into them myself, largely because there’s still so much actual biblical stuff I need to study (and re-study.) I’ve always been particularly partial to the later prophets, who don’t tend to get taught much in general Jewish education.

I am intensely dismayed by some of his choices. They are not the choices I would make. But as he’s the earthly head of our family, it’s not my place to disagree with his decisions. I either believe God oversees the Church and will correct problems, or I don’t.

I definitely question some of his behaviors. Asking questions is fine. Usurping the authority to decide is not, and declaring him this or that is not in line with our teachings. Respect the chair if not the man.
