With respect to you both, I didn’t take the message to be insulting. Rather it highlights a challenging concept: God reveals Himself to people, we don’t find Him through logic. The process cannot be explained, only experienced, and it must be invited.
Ain’t no father, just a man. It’s an extremely simple prayer. “God, I’m seeking you. If you are here with me, please reveal yourself to me in a way I cannot deny. Glorify yourself in my life and show me the real truth about you and Lord Jesus.” Just say it aloud.
