Many men who set out to improve themselves and their marriage get discouraged when their wife doesn’t validate them, or even becomes more vicious. This is trial by fire. She wants to see if you’re faking. She wants you to fail and explode at a safe distance. Endure and prove.

If a man is pestering you to validate his wants because he did what you asked, why would you believe he’s truly changed for the sake of being a better man? If he’s whining about not being rewarded, how can you trust he actually understands why he needs to be better?

And finally... Men who actually change do so for themselves and their overall families regardless of what anyone thinks. Validation and reward isn’t the goal because the change is its own reward. You prove this with confidence and conviction about the change itself.

Change regardless of the tests, endure with confidence, and you’ll likely win her heart. TRY to win her heart by changing and you’re guaranteed to scare her off because she knows you’re fake. Not every relationship can be saved, each partner makes a choice, but this is the path.

This sir, is 100% truth in a tweet. I started out as the guy u initially describe. It took accountability from other men to show me that the man i was didn’t deserve my wife nor did she deserve the me i had given her. I was a boy attempting manhood only when convenient.

It was intelligence & intuition that willed her to protect herself & give me space during the transformation. & it’s the same 2 things that cause her 2 question me from time 2 time 2 this day. It annoys me but it shows her wisdom. & her wisdom is the primary reason she’s my wife
