I don't think it would work as well as you surmise. Perhaps it would, but I think men would rather be cuddled or receive real affection from someone that actually cared about them as opposed to having to pay for it.

Possibly. I'm not sure paying someone for artificial affection is actually going to help someone in that situation. I'm just speculating here, of course. I don't have a background in psychology or sociology or anything that would qualify my opinion.

I'm just going by what it would be like for me if I had to pay someone to pretend to care about me or comfort me.
