I think there is a disconnect in how parenthood is communicated to kids, so they don’t see those moments because they are in them. They hear the stress, the argument, the punishments and think that is all parenting is. And society doesn’t help that viewpoint.

I had kids at 25. They were out of the house when I hit 43. I had a blast with them, and I am having a blast without them.
