I've come to the conclusion that I am no longer Baptist. I just dont share all the same views and beliefs. Just like I left all political parties looks like I'm leaving all denominations. I'm a follower of Christ. A soldier in his army. And that's what's important.

I struggle with every denomination and religion. The fellowship is also important. I wonder if religion is always an exercise in accepting that some elements seem a little insane, I don’t know.

Paranoid American individualism also (often) shuts off the idea of loyally following one head figure or getting along because you’re 99% in agreement. We tend to hear that 1% and scoop up the nearest grenade launcher. I say this as an American Catholic screeching about the Pope.pic.twitter.com/wt3VWfhZAn

I'm not leaving my church. I love the church, the pastor, and the http://people.in it. I do still recieve spiritual food there. There are just a certain set of beliefs that I must claim in order to call myself Baptist. As every denomination has. I cant lie.
