Not true. There are a couple of rest breaks in the book. My favorite being the stop at Nick's place because I am a fan of his home decor.

Fun fact: Early readers warned me they felt physically exhausted reading the book, so I added breaks into the final draft.

That was my biggest issue with Burrito Avenger. I felt it needed more breaks to build character and release tension, as too much action tended to blur together and become tedious. Still an extremely fun book.

I think Burrito Avenger is an attempt to see how close you can get non stop action without breaking the story. I much prefer the pacing of Gideon Ira, but I think Burrito Avenger succeeded admirably at what it was trying to do.

It would make an excellent screenplay, now that I think about it.
