I grew up in a household where physical contact was reserved exclusively for punishment. Now that I’ve had kids I see how crucial it is. And I go out of my way to hug my male friends, especially those single men who may not have anyone giving them love. Brains starve for this.

So, male friends on here: I will probably hug the heck out of you when you see me in person. Just what I do now. Consider it an act of love. If you don’t like it: Dodge and throw a punch. That’s physical contact, too.
