Nightly verse Romans 14:10-12 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall confess to God

The underlying unspoken here is salvation. We are not supposed to judge a saved person by their sins. If they are covered by the blood then we cant hold that against them.

I’m curious of your interpretation of this passage, 1 Cor 5: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Corinthians+5&version=NIV …

Specifically where Paul says he judges the person, and calls Christians to judge one another within the Church.

People have this belief now days that we are bot allowed to judge each other. We absolutely are, we are not allowed to judge some for a covered sin. Example: I use to get drunk a lot before becoming saved. I havent not one time since. You cannot judge me for my old drunken ways

Right. It’s the principle of not disagreeing with what your King has declared clean.

I think it’s holding one another to basic standards Not ignoring sin just because We’re full of love If it’s a truth it must be said Like if somebody at church is lusting over the girls Should we just ignore him and let him be ? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.biblegateway.com/passage/%3Fsearch%3DMatthew%2B18%253A15-17%26version%3DWE%26interface%3Damp …

Correct. Passive and permissive Christians have ruled in leadership positions in a wide variety of denominations and look at the harm it’s done as the secular world mocks us for allowing molestation and sexual abuse among us.

Think how many possible converts have been driven away, how many souls not saved, through lack of accountability due to a misguided understanding of love as silent consent.
