I was in elementary & they didn’t even try to protect us from seeing it. We all watched in unison. We didn’t really grasp what was actually happen because the teachers hid their emotions as to not frighten us but once we all got home.... it was clear there was sheer terror

My history teacher had it up on the television and just sat there in the front row desks with his head in his hands staring like a man who’d lost everything. We all goofed off and threw paper airplanes but kept stealing glances at him like, something heavy is clearly going on.

I was sitting in my office on the 17th floor watching the planes in and out of Hartsfield and a friend stopped by and said 'Somethings up.' We went to the meeting room and watched it unfold on a big screen. One fellow had a son that worked for CNN in town.

He put the newsroom on speaker phone and we listened to the chatter, real time. On our end people were stunned. Silence. I left when they showed people jumping. Back in my office the sky was clear. Not one flight in or out of the busiest airport in the world.
