My paternal grandfather passed away before I was born. I’ve heard great stories but Everything I needed to know about him is in this photo. The man had too much drip.pic.twitter.com/sd9dOWTdZj

Blessed to still have my grandpa who turned 77 this year. I can't imagine life without him. He still does situps and pushups every morning.
Lost my FIL a few years back. It broke my son's heart....
Grew up with only one set of GP's 'til I was 4. Dad died when I was 12. Mom youngest her generation, me of mine. But mom had 3 sisters that lived close by, all to late 90's, healthy, "with it," wonderful God fearing/God loving! Took all to lunch once a week spent Sun with them!
I missed the men as they passed away, but my aunts helped me to know each one AND MY DAD! Dad used to take me to hold the mirror for him when in the esrly-mid 1950's he fixed early TUBE TV's. Controls horizontal/vert hold were on back--the mirror was to see when adjusting at end!
Buried Grandma Labor Day weekend 84 year. My other Grandparents died in my late teens I'm now in my 40s. It was an honor to have her in my life for so long.
I’ve always been open with my children that someday I’m going to die. It’s going to happen. I also believe there is more to our existence than the physical, they know that as well. It takes everything to raise solid family. The good the bad and the dead.
