Just woke up at 31 hours of fasting. Feeling pretty good, not starving. Mind is clear and focused. Need some more electrolytes. 29 hours to go.

Regarding those of you who've written about religious fasting. I would be intrigued on how you do it. As a minister, I believe the fasting has religious significance as well. Feel free to DM me if you would like.

Prayer and not eating, balanced with electrolyte drinks so the not eating doesn’t diminish my physical wellbeing through malnourishment. The goal isn’t to suffer but to practice discipline against eating and temptation in order to grow more obedient in covenantal living.

Excellent. I do the same from time to time. May I ask what electrolyte drinks you use?

Thanks for letting me know. Do you drink the water with added electrolytes as well?
