In hour 46 of my fast. Still feeling good. Electrolytes are preventing energy crashes and keeping me from feeling worn out. Hungry but not starving because I’ve made sure to drink fluids constantly so my stomach isn’t fully empty.

My knee jerk reaction is, we are all supposed to fast when called to do so by the Spirit. I’ve no idea if Baptist’s have designated fasting days. But I will say my own experiences have been excellent for discipline against habitual sin, by training the kind to simply refuse.

1) Alrighty Baptist fasting. We do not have fasting days but rather we are to fast from time to time, especially of here is a heavy burden that needs prayer. Jesus said to fast. Matthew 6: 16-18 and in those verses he gives us instructions such as an anointing our heads...

2) so basically if Jesus says we should do, we probably should do it. I fast when there is a heavy burden for prayer and I also fast when I feel I'm further from God that I was, it's a spiritual cleansing. On a side note, my wife is Jewish descent so I fast on
