Picture this: You have an extended family of 20 close relatives. You all live together in one giant house. You tend your gardens together, cook your meals together, do your laundry together. All chores are shared. All expenses are shared. You will grow up and grow old here.
Right? There’s a LOT that needs to be squared away to create accountability, ensure healthy leaders, make sure people have the option to leave without being utterly wrecked, etc. But a family system like this full of HEALTHY family members would resolve a wide range of ills.

I've started becoming an unironic Anglo-Saxon Monarchist because of the accountability baked into the system. It needs some tinkering, but it meets much of this.
